really? i didnt like it all that much. i found it kinda annoying that they only play one salsa then one merengue then one bachata. plus it seems kinda pick-upesq a place. plus the random drunk guys were a put-off.

I've only been there once, and it faired ok with me...kinda seemed "pick-upesq" as Ildi suggested - can't really decide if I like or don't like just yet...gotta try again a few more times...

But I like going to Alleycatz on Mondays.

Six Degrees is by far my the favoritestest place. Good ambiance, great music and nice crowd. I go there almost every Tuesday and have never seen drunk guys there... Not sure if I ever heard 1 Salsa-1 Merenge-1 Bachata sequence, but if it would be so--the variety is great, its more fun that way!

I really like Alleycatz, but find it a bit too crowded-the dance floor is not that big, and there is no free admission for the ladies at any time, unlike at Six or Acrobat or, for that matter, Babaluu.

I found the place to be a typical nightclub, and not so much a salsa club.

I found the place to be a pickup joint and the DJ has no flow. The venue is great, however the floors are too slippery, you have to get use to the traction.

Yes, it is less intimidating than Babaluu's on a Tuesday, but it is not nearly as great as Babs on a Wednesday, nor as fun as Acrobat on a Friday.

However, I can see 6 degrees as a great place for people that just want a casual setting for salsa and grab a drink.

That being said, I would not return there for a Salsa night. Babs on Tues and Wed. or AlleyCatz on a Monday are still much better. There is really no difference between 6 Degrees and a typical pickup joint in the BURBS, only that they play Salsa music.
