Hi Everyone!

We are looking for a subway accessible large space to hold our first salsa competition. It should be very large with a stage if possible in a nice safe location. It must also be availabel on a Saturday night. Please let me know if you have a lead on this type of space.

Thanks everyone!

try community centers. they are relatively innexpensive and will also set up the room for you.
you will need your own sound & d.j. though.
but if you manage to establish this as a venue it could work for many outings when you have no nenue available.

What about a banquet hall? I am not sure the pricing of it but the spaces are much larger than the clubs in Toronto.

Wow, the Winter Salsa Carnival last night was a blast. The performers were breathtaking, and the social dancing afterwards was loads of fun!

I was thinking about how great if we'd have our competition at the Berkley Events Theatre, as they have a stage, hardwood floor (decent size) and a balcony where people can lounge, or dance more. Something to think about Smile

Did anyone else go to the Carnival? What do you think about the space?
