Amen Sister! All 2 inch heels seem to be so ugly and I have wider feet too so I am so uncomfortable in heels. If you guys every see me out, I am always in dance sneakers because they are so comfortable. But if anyone has guidance it would be greatly appreciated!

Salsaddict, I've had the exact same challenge finding comfy heels that look decent. Angelo Luizo's are pretty good - you can find them at Toronto Dancewear Centre. I wore them all semester in ladies styling class, so they pass the comfort test (well, for heels anyway). Also, I've had to special order a 2'' wide-width pair from Addicted 2 Dance Shoes (in Toronto) - try there, but keep in mind that it can take up to 6 weeks to get your special order shoes.

To save you some of the grief that I've had ordering heels online, I suggest you go to a shop and try the brand first, if at all possible. (Don't you love how a brand claims to have wide-width but really isn't even close to comfortable?!)

As Sharon said, it's hard finding the right heeled shoe that is comfy and attractive - I always end up wearing my speedfactors too - comfort always wins!

So if you want "pretty" dance shoes that are super comfy (for people with wide feet), you should try "Addicted 2 dance shoes". It's located on finch and dufferin i think...

http://www.addicted2danceshoes.com/

They have really pretty 2 inch heals...
Hope this helps,

-S

I just ordered a pair of bloch high heeled shoes - they are fairly new on the market so I will provide you feedback on how comfortable they are!

Just wanted to update everyone that I ordered the 2 inch heels from Blochs and was surprised at how comfortable they were. They look good, have lots of cushioning and the 2 inch heels which usually don't look too good are nice on this model and they are wide and have a wide heel. So I encourage anyone looking to check out bloch's selection - reasonable cost too!

Sharon,

Do you have a picture of the shoes? or a link?

They are called Bloch S0805 - Sienna and I got the natural colour which is really flattering. Check the Bloch website at:

www.blochworld.com under footwear and salsa/ballroom. Look for the Sienna model.

I hate wearing heals to dance in but these are bearable!
