I had a really great time on Saturday as well. I always seem to love the vibe at Acrobat! This time, arriving early helped a lot...can't wait for the next outting.

It was awesome!!! Very busy at first so I wasn't sure how it would be but as soon as the class started everyone settled down and they split the place up and it was a great class. We learned a cool move. After that the lights went down and everyone started dancing. People are really friendly and even the higher level good dancers were asking us to dance.

I can't wait for the next one!!!

We had a very good turn out at Acrobat last weekend! I was particularly impressed with the number of Level 1 students who came out, considering most Level 1 students have only completed the first salsa basics class, at that point. The large group outings are great to meet and mingle with students of all levels. Hope y'all had fun and learned something new!

Looking forward to the next outing.
Happy Dancing Very Happy

I danced with several ladies from level 1 classes who when I asked them to dance were quick to let me know, "I'm only in level 1," or "I'm just a beginner!" I told them not to worry and things went great! It is fantastic to see people getting out there to dance as early as possible. It's the best way to get really hooked into the salsa addiction, and the parties are where the fun is at the end of the hard work you've invested in attending the classes.

I agree... a lot of the beginner dancers would always feed the disclaimer line..."i'm not great..i'm only a beginner." But it's awesome to promote the idea of dancing with people of all levels and to foster a dance environment that's friendly and encouraging. I know that I'm really grateful to the gracious gentlemen (victims) who showed me a trick or two when I was a beginner and who patiently let me count out loud (1 2 3...*pause*..5 6 7 *pause*) while dancing.

Heh I'm a beginner but I haven't seen anyone count out loud yet. I wouldn't mind, I'd think it's cute :p
