Hola amigos!
Does anyone know where can I find a Salsa Timing CD or DVD? I think timing is crucial for good salsa dancing.
I want to learn how to distinguish and follow each individual instrument in a salsa band and how they blend together.
I know there are CDs explaining and analyzing the beats for each instrument separately, combinations of them, and all together.
I appreciate any help and suggestions! Thanks in advance!

Try this site. I never bought anything from here, but they have a wide selection of videos and I noticed that you can order timing cds

Thanks Lindiloo!
I actually did some internet research and found pretty good number of timing CDs, however I cannot find any in a Canadian musical store. I wanted to listen to them and to see what all is about, and which one is good. The site you refer me actually has the best Timing CD set, in my opinion, and I was thinking to buy it, but directly from the producer SalsaIsGood, Australia. They have better price, as well :)

If I can’t find any here I’m going to order Timing Training Set – CD+DVD from SalsaIsGood. If someone wants to by another one (or have another one) we can exchange them later.

For anyone interested, I will post my research for free ;)))

Hi Rad and Lindiloo!
I've been dealing with the timing issue for a long time as well!
My friend and I recently made a website where you can learn and practice the salsa timing. The goal is to help dancers, especially the ones with no music background, understand the musical structure of a salsa song.
You may check out: www.salsaclock.com
Feel free to let us know of your comments and suggestions.
Cheers
Mahyar
